Seven Talks with Tim DeChristopher #5: Counting on the Jury's Conscience

In the trial that will begin on February 28th, Tim DeChristopher has been prohibited by the judge from explaining to jurors why he disrupted the auction. His "necessity defense" - that he was acting to prevent a greater harm - will be barred from the courtroom.

In this fifth talk about his case, DeChristopher explains that juries originally were expected to act as the conscience of the community -- a role he is hoping his jury will reclaim when they hear his case.
